Line for the production of wood pellets with a capacity of 500 kg / h
(raw material - sawdust, shavings)
The line is designed for the production of wood pellets (pellets) from wood waste of various fractions and moisture. The main raw materials are sawdust, shavings, small chips, raw materials when using a chipper - cutting, balance, etc.
Main technical characteristics of the line.
Description of characteristics | Value |
---|---|
Product line | Granule with a diameter of 8mm |
Productivity per finished product | 500 kg / h; |
Raw material line | Sawdust, shavings, wood chips with a fraction of up to 20 mm, when using a chipper - cuts, slabs, balance with a maximum section of 180 mm |
Raw material moisture | relative - 55% (absolute humidity 122% ) |
The need for raw materials with a moisture content of 55% | 1.2 - 1.5 t / h |
Required installation space | 25 x 16 m |
Required height for installation | For the drying and grinding section - 7 m, for the granulating section - 10 m. The equipment can be installed at lower heights. This is solved at the stage of technical solution. |
Installed electrical power | 139 kW |

Line diagram, job description
The pelletizing line consists of four sections: a drying section, a secondary grinding section, a granulating section, and a packing section.
Fine - grained raw materials are fed into the hopper of the drying drum, and the fuel is fed into the hopper of the heat generator. In the heat generator, the fuel, burning, forms a drying agent, which is fed into the drying drum. In the dryer, the raw material dries up to a moisture content of 8 - 10% and is removed from it into the cyclone of the smoke exhauster.
In a pneumatic transport cyclone, the dried raw material is separated from the spent drying agent and is fed through a sluice feeder to hammer mills.
In a hammer mill, the raw material is crushed to a fraction of 2 mm. The crushed raw material is fed by pneumatic transport to the granulator hopper. From the granulator hopper through its batchers and the granulator mixer, the raw material is fed to the granulation. The formed granule is fed by a Z - shaped conveyor to the cooler, and from there to the separator. In the cooler, the granule cools down and gains strength, and the unformed mass is separated on the separator, which is fed by pneumatic transport to the granulator hopper. From the separator, the granule is fed by a vertical conveyor to the finished product hopper. Electronic scales are installed under the bunker, on which a pallet with a "big - bag" is installed, into which the granule is dosed.
We also offer heating hot water boilers using this type of fuel.
